On Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at 1:30pm ET, ARCCC members are invited to join our webinar entitled Making Sense of the Triduum in a World Apart facilitated by Anne Jamieson, D. Min. This webinar will offer participants valuable insight into the Triduum and how it applies to Catholic communications. 
Anne Jamieson is Director of the Catechesis Office for the Diocese of Hamilton. Anne holds her Doctor of Ministry from the University of Toronto. She is the author and co-author of several publications in the Diocese for the study of Mass, the Creed, and resources for Sacramental Prep for children and their families. She is a reviewer and contributor to the new Religious Education program from Pearson Publishing in use in publicly funded Catholic Schools across Canada. Anne's latest book is called A Recipe for Faith: Choosing and Using the Best Ingredients from Novalis Publishing. Anne is a teacher at heart, a proud mom, a blessed wife, and a sometimes competitive baker.

New Apostolic Exhortation reflects on the call to holiness

Papal Magisterium on Communication Available Online

The Pontifical Council for Social Communications has launched The Baragli Project, whose aim is to make available the long tradition of teaching and reflection by the Church on the centrality of communications. “The material themselves are hugely significant as they show how the Church has, throughout its history, sought to engage with the changing means and forms of communication which have shaped culture and human society," said Archbishop Claudio Maria Celli, president of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications.

CCCB President Releases Open Letter to Canadian Catholics on Responding to the Refugee Crisis

Following the call of Pope Francis during his Angelus message on September 6, 2015, the Most Reverend Paul-André Durocher, Archbishop of Gatineau and President of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB), has released an open letter to Canadian Catholics on how all the members of the Church can respond to the refugee crisis. Read the letter here.
